Eddie I have been amazed at your ability to update so consistently up to this point, that type of dedication is virtually unheard of on the Internet. Enjoy the break, your site really is the best around!
Hi Eddie. I have a friend who says he was friends with you in school. His name is Robert Amore. He remembers you wearing two neckties every Thursday and the time the teacher asked each student what they wanted to be when they grew up, and when you said "a cartoonist" the rest of the class laughed. Do you remember him?
Mralarm: I love Jim Carrey! I never met him but I may have an indirect connection with him because one of the writers on his first TV series said the character he played (an animator) was partly based on me.
That show infuriated me as a kid because it made the production of an animated show look all wrong...I love how there were two animators doing everything, the young guy and the old guy...Jack Gilford, right? Was that 'you' & the fella who punched you, mayhap? it boggles the mind.
Hey, Eddie, you're cheating by posting before Thursday! ; D Thanks for the nice compliment, btw.
Have fun! HA HA HA!

ReplyDeleteI can't post on John K's blog for some reason, but what do you think of Jim Carrey's acting?
ReplyDeleteMralarm: I love Jim Carrey! I never met him but I may have an indirect connection with him because one of the writers on his first TV series said the character he played (an animator) was partly based on me.
ReplyDeleteSome have said Carrey is a "living cartoon character".

In an episode of the Simpsons, why did Homer suggest he be played by Gary Oldman in a movie? He seems nothing like him!
ReplyDeleteI have to run! No time to write replies but thanks a million for the comments!
