  2. Holy crap! How did I never realize House was George from Blackadder?! Never heard of "A Bit of Fry and Laurie" before, but these clips are hilarious.

Love, love, love Fry and Laurie!

Loved them still in Jeeves and Wooster!

As mentioned, Laurie is in House, MD now. You can find Fry narrating Pocoyo!

  5. Those are great. "House" is my guiltiest of guilty pleasures and it's great to see Hugh Laurie do something other than that.

  6. I saw some of them before- I like them a lot! Ya, just like the bunch, I'd only really seen Hugh Laurie in House, one of my mother's favorite shows.

  7. wow, dammit! what a bizarre bunch of dialogue.

never seen this. but like most i'm weirded out that hugh laurie is, in addition to other stuff, the guy from 'house'.

i was more shocked to find out that he's also the dad in 'stuart little'.

hey eddie, are you still taking in theory chair submissions? i've written it down, and ready to draw it.

this theory may save your marriage.

    or future marriages.

  8. Ecto: I haven't taken Theory Chair rants in a while because I got too serious after I had a complication following eye surgery.

The amount of pain I experienced was insignificant beside what a lot of other people have to put up with but it was new to me. Believe it or not I've had a whole life without bee stings, bumps on the head, etc. I was like Little Lord Fauntleroy getting his first splinter. It was a strange, horrifying experience that sobered me up for a while.

Now that I've experienced what other humans experience have maybe I'm ready to accept a rant again. tey it and I'll see if I can do it.

Paging Dr. House, Dr. Fine, Dr. House.

When Hugh Laurie hosted SNL it wasn't that funny. I wonder if you can lose sketch comedy skills.

    Maybe it was the writing.

  12. It is odd to see Hugh Laurie in House.
He's spent most of his career playing posh, brainless dickheads so it's odd seeing him all serious.
It's odd that I should read this tonight as only an hour ago I wrote about Stephen Fry...

  13. Thanks for posting this, Uncle Eddie! They actually aired A Bit of Fry and Laurie in the early days of BBC America.

It's hard for my brother and me to watch House, because every time we see Hugh Laurie, we see George from Blackadder.
