Anon: Thanks for the link! That guy is really funny! Even so I have to say I disagree with him. What's wrong with advertising and marketing? They make it so we can get media free, or at least cheap. Ads probably employed more artists than the Church and royalty in the whole history of their existence. Me, I'm grateful for ads...I try not to watch them, though.
Ads like Burma Shave are awesome, I think hes more against the banal uncreative ad culture of demographics charts and "tude" that John K rails against in his blog
