Hi Eddie, very cool blog! Saw you on the R&S DVD first time and I heard you laughing while commenting the DVD. You were pretty close to become a laugh attack while speaking to John!
At first I thought Jorge (you mean Jorge Garrido, right?) was annoying, but maybe the best way to treat him is like Snow White treats Grumpy. The madder he gets, the more everybody laughs and pats his head! He's kinda funny sometimes.
Eddie, I really enjoyed your post yesterday. I found it to be very profound and deep and I'm glad you posted it. Me and my wife are a little scared of having kids I guess for the obvious reasons of not being financially secure, but reading your post makes me feel that sometimes we are just a little too over analytical and should probably just let nature take it's coarse. Thanks again. Oh, and that comic was funny as hell! Negative creeps like that do need to be pied!
Good Grief! I didn't mean to imply that there was anything wrong with Jorge! Well, truth to tell, he's not the most tactful person in the world, but I'd hate to make him mad because he might leave. Everybody needs at least one friend who'll tell them what they really think.
Tony, Jennifer, David, Marlo: Thanks for the kind words (If you're a guy and I didn't mention you, that's because you don't have breasts. I still appreciate your comments)!
Katie (I'm responding to a note you wrote yesterday!): Thanks a lot! That means a lot coming from you because you're one of the best artists I know at conveying happy emotions. This is an interesting subject that deserves a post of its own.
BTW, I'm sure everybody here reads Katie's blog, "Funny Cute," but if you don't then run, don't walk, over there right now and read one of the drawing lessons you'll find on the net.
Jenny, thanks for the comments and for talking about the onion book. I gave it back to the library after only skimming it because I recently developed a cataract that makes it hard for me to focus. Don't feel sorry for me because I'm getting it fixed at the end of the week. I can't wait!
I was sincere when I asked you to post a sample of the onion book. Just put a couple of the best pages on the scanner. When I'm able I'll get the book from the library and read the whole thing.
The Freddie Moore drawings on "Blackwing Diaries" were wonderful! What an awesome treat!!!!! Nice commentary too. The full-body animation roughs really make John's point about lines of action and strong silloutte.
I had some trouble calling up the word verification on your site. Maybe I'll have better luck if I try a new browser.
Hey, Eddie! This post about smacking Jorge in the face is boring. It's as boring as poop in a basket. If there was an award show for the most boring thing in the world, this post would win at the annual Bories ceremony held in Boringtown, USA. Why don't you do less boring posts like that one about having kids.
Okay, I've had my fun. Nice post as usual. I wish we could all answer criticism with quick sketches like that. :)
Hey i never posted in the kids post, i noticed one was deleted, but it wasn't me!
i posted that the ART post was boring. i haven't visited this blog in a while... actually i serendipidiously hit end when i came here so i saw each psot in chronological order. i was gonna psot that i liked kids but then i saw this so i made a quick caricature of eddie which i'll post soon

Ah! The ol' pie-in-the-face and trap-door trick! A classic.
Dear Uncle Eddie,
I think you should do what you just did again.
Make little two page comics with certain commentaters from your blog who need more of your sacred wisdom.
Till next time,
Drew
P.S. Excuse me while I laugh my ass off because of that comic strip!

Hi Eddie
"COOL DRAWINGS!!!!!"
Jesse
Huh...I didn't find this "Jorge"'s comment. Must've deleted it or something.
Anyway...hilarious...reminds me of "The K Chronicles", which is syndicated to alternative newspapers.
Gonna start a comic-strip someday?
