SOME MORE INTERESTING FACES

Hepburn (above) of course.

Every teenager (above) thinks they look good with hair that oozes down over one sise of their forehead. You can't talk them out of it.

Willie Dixon (above) and his famous gold tooth.

A fascinating example (above) of a face that has different characteristics in each hemisphere. The head is robust above the cheeks, and flat and receding below the cheeks. Still nice to look at though.

An uncommonly slanted forehead and large nose (above), but they don't detract from her looks. It's amazing how many deviations from the ideal there are that still look good.

The comedian, Terry Thomas (above). The gap in the teeth works beautifully, and so does the upturned mustache, eyebrows and hairline. He wanted to be a dramatic actor but his head had different ideas.

Sammy Davis (above), the caricaturist's dream. Those grief lines on his forehead are terrific!

Dietrich: did the photographers create her or did she create them? What a sculptured look!

Wow! Many thanks to Katie for the link to these these heads! Click to enlarge.

Nice, Eddie! I like the lady in profile.

Hey, what do you think of this neat photo set I found...

Pictures of real people are always gonna be better than staged personalities, but I like these photos anyhow.

I prefer interesting faces, especially in today's era where cosmetic surgery makes everyone look the same instead of tweaking what we already have. It's funny - the personalities that were considered beautiful or handsome back in the day wouldn't pass muster in today's standards because they don't look plastic-perfect.

I really like the picture of the lady in profile. Her features make her look so aristocratic and regal. You can picture her in the society pages at one of those charity functions attended by the old-money.

Terry-Thomas looks like a comedian. His face automatically wins over the audience without having to open his mouth. One look and the audience automatically smiles.

Another personality that has an interesting face is Larry King. He is not conventionally attractive or handsome, but there's something very sensuous about it. He looks like someone who would be an excellent lover.

I think you're right about the teen hair. Teen of the moment....
teenhair

How would you describe this hairdo? Part Donald Trump, part Ted Koppel and something else... I don't know... Farah Fawcett?

Your teen photo looks familiar. He looks a little like Mike Nesmith, from the Monkees, and also like a combination of several 60's - 70"s game show hosts.

Thomas: That IS somebody famous, but I don't know who. Maybe a country singer.

Pre-emo, over the forehead hair on guy teenagers is a fascinating subject that really requires a whole post.

He's a Pop kiddie singer. I wouldn't want to burden you with his name; then you would probably start seeing it everywhere, like a bad song you can't get out of your head.

I see the Trump hairdo, but its even the look on his face.

You mean the teen photo isn't Alfred E. Newman?

I'm glad you liked the photos! Here are some more really cool (and kind of cold) heads.

http://thelovemagazineblog.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/vuitton-heads.jpg

They're all Louis Vuitton models- so at first glance, I was like, "oh, these are all gonna be beautiful women"...upon a closer look, I said "WOW these women are WEIRD looking and not pretty at all!" But then on further inspection, I found most of them to be fascinating and also very beautiful. What do you think? Luke and I played a game where we'd look at them in chunks of 5 and single out the prettiest one to each of us.

P.S. The new site looks like it's going to be cool!
