BE BACK ON APRIL FOOL'S DAY!

I'll be back in a few days, on Thursday, April first...April Fool's Day. Maybe I'll have the store up by then! No, wait a minute, I still have to get my license to sell. Well, we'll see. Anyway, I'll be back here by late Thursday!

You've got to sell a complete line of Uncle Eddie's crotchless underwear. This is an area where the major corporate cartoon marketers won't compete. You have the field to yourself!

If Eddie were active here now, I would have to post this following collection of Old British Mugshots from the drunk tank (well it wasn't that hard to find, I think Boing Boing pointed it out). But if you haven't seen them, they might make good fodder for cartooning.

Can't wait!

By the way, Eddie, does Mike Fontanelli have a blog?

If you need a license to sell you'd be the first to get one among millions of Etsy, Ebay and other internet sellers.

Justin-if he does he'll never reveal it. But I'm guessing no.

(By the way Mike, did you ever read my reply to your question about the jigglers?)

Rooni, Joseph: Nope. Just straight ahead selling. Actually what i'm selling is a philosophy and a way of looking at the world, but I don't think that'll be apparent right away.

Hans: Many thanks for those terrific mugshots! can I use them in a post?

Jennifer: Thanks! I don't think you'll be disappointed. The stuff I'm selling is interesting and thought-provoking. Even people who never buy anything should still benefit from reading the ads.

Jenny: I'm not using Etsy, Cafe Press or any of that. Maybe I'll wish that I had when tax time rolls around.

Justin: No, Mike doesn't have a blog. I and everybody else who knows him try to get him to do it, but he refuses.

Eddie, I think Mugshots, especially of that age, are public domain. I am not the one to ask permission, but I am sure it falls under fair use, even internationally.

You most certainly can, and may use them in a post, with the typical UncleEddie Value Added Retelling.

Mmm, but those mugshots do have that ancestry.co.uk copyright symbol watermarked on them. Can they do that? The comments on the site are a bit befuddled as well as to why a geneology site apparently has publication rights to a set of mugshots.
