I thought I'd put up a couple of the wigs and hands (above) that I scored at Halloween time. This rubber giant's hand is a thing of beauty. The photo doesn't do it justice.
And here's (above) the new Moe wig! What do you think?
No, wait a minute. Emos (above) comb their hair over to one side! Here I'm a bright and happy side-combed emo.
SPOCK: "Klingons on the starboard bow, Captain!"
BONES: "I'm a DOCTOR Jim, and I'm not going to have my sickbay turned into an amusement park!"
SPOCK: "It's LIFE Jim, but not as we know it!"
Let me turn on the color (above), so you can see what my new Esmeralda puppet looks like in blue.
I know what you're thinking: "Where's her arms?"
Boy, I love Halloween!

Nice Puppet.
Hi Eddie,Yay! you forgot to use your wig as one of the Beatles! How could be? Here I have a communicative partner for your lady puppet: http://theantiquemarket.com/IMG_3772.JPG
Hahaha, niiice.
From what I understand about emo haircuts (which isn't much) they're either just standard longer hairstyle or kind of choppy and asymmetrical (one lock hanging over the forehead, etc.)
It may just be coincidence but I think those haircuts evolved from anime. The male protagonists in a lot of them tend to have those same kind of haircuts and it may have let the emo kids to copy it like "I cut my hair just like (insert character's name)"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Too good.
Wow, you love Halloween more than anybody I've ever known.
Haha! Great one!
You look like Mortimer Snerd in this photo.
Actually the emo haircut began as basically Spock. That's where the term spock rock came from. As it got more popular it got longer and pointier and gayer.
But I digress. Great photos, Eddie! (Hey, that's not an appropriate use of that phrase!)
I can only think of one thing when I see your puppet....
BEAKER!! meep meep meep meep!
Thats an excellent wing you got there, Eddie! You should use it in some of your comics.
God I miss halloween. Tokyo is not conducive to halloween. You just can't go trick or treating when most of the population is living in apartments. People just don't trick or treat or have any candy. Maybe some cheap decorations, but that's it. Plastic pumpkins! There are no pumkin patches and pumpkins are expensive. God I miss pumpkin patches.
pretty funny, Ed
BTW, Eddie can you tell me if I'm doing these right?

Amanda: Fun subject matter, but you need more structure in the drawings. John's blog has plenty of advice about how to get it.
Sean: I feel your pain!
Roon: Thanks! Will do!
Jennifer: It does look a little like Beaker, now that you mention it! That's unintentional, but the comparison is flattering!
Denise: Haw! That's a great picture! If you have no objection I'll try to use it somewhere!
Jorge: Spock Rock? I'm hearing the term for the fiirst time!
Azn, Kali, Lester, Thomas, Shawn: Thanks!
Eddie Sure,go ahead!
the giant hands are scary! reminds me of my grandfather when i was a child, he was a whopping 6 foot 5! the puppet reminds me more of that puppet from mystery science theatre, dont remember his name.speaking of spock, did anyone like the new j.j. abrams version of star trek? i reluctantly admit i loved every minute of it and i easily chose it as one of the best films of the year. i went in ready to hate it but fell in love instead. the best halloween i remember was when i was about 8, my mom bought me a bingo from the bananna splits costume, not too satisfied with the plastic face mask she helped me make up my face with orange make up, fake hair and big plastic teeth, i looked less like bingo and more like lon chaney in london after dark. it was fun and from that point foward she and i began to collaborate on costumes rather than buying them, her birthday was always a few days before halloween so it was fun for her too! we never got along that well years later for various reasons but we always came together for halloween.
I keep leaving links to my blog at John K.'s but he doesn't reply to them. Maybe I'm bugging him too much or something :/
Wow, that really is a great fake giant hand! I didn't know what the heck you were babbling about on Saturday, (not an entirely unusual situation, BTW) when you first told me about it.
Do the fingers bend? Can you "pose" it? Does it come in a "girl" style, too?
The mind boggles with possibilities, (not all of them decent...)
