The greatest acting ever in a motion picture was in "Benji: The Hunted". Three quarters of the picture consisted of Benji, lost in the wilderness... looking around sadly at the miles and miles that separated him from his master... surprised to find baby foxes in a hollow stump... concerned that their mother had abandoned them... determined to raise them as his own pups, come hell or high water... smiling paternally at their cuteness... patient with them, teaching them to fend for themselves in the wilderness...
All this with absolutely no dialogue or explanatory narration by Rex Allen. The dog registered all of this on his face. I swear to God! I've never seen anything like it. Go rent the video. It's one of the greatest movies ever made.

Eddie, what do you predict it will be called? Is that still a secret? I 'm dying to watch this. Your drawings are cool, I don't know how you pros can get that kind of thing in one shot, without a ton of sketches.

I used to love that Benji movie, you made me want to see it again.
Steve, I totally agree with you on 'Benji: The Hunted.' I was a kid when that film came out, and even when I was 9, I was amazed at that Benji actin'! I probably haven't seen the movie in 10+ years, but I can still clearly picture some of those scenes with the cubs (they were cougers though, not foxes, right?) and how well they all worked out on film together. It's an action movie and I think it got me a little teary-eyed in spots.
Eddie, I hope you're not just sitting back and hoping for this to happen. Carpe dium, man. MAKE this happen.

Unless you were using the screen of a T.V. set as a desk. There's always that possibility.

Jesse: Get an animation disc from Cartoon Color or from ebay. I made my own from white plexi and masonite, loosely following the instructions in Preston Blair's book.
Of course you can draw directly into the computer if you have the right program but you need to ask someone else about that. I'm going to try that real soon but haven't made the plunge yet.

To be honest, the movie is painful to watch but it has some really funny acting scenes in it.

I wish that would happen. Um, to be honest with you, I have a feeling they'll be making more annoying americanized anime type shows. If there's a word for them, let me know because I'm not familiar with that sort of lingo.

It's Jesse! Thanks for the animation board tip! I will be looking for an animation disc from cartoon color or ebay. It's amazing how people can make cool old retro looking cartoons by using todays techology. I mean if you look at the back grounds in "Ren Seeks Help" you will notice they look like back grounds from MGM or WB.
