The music you're using on these chewing gum ads gives me the creeps for some reason!

Fantastic. Man, I knew that guy was evil right from the start. It was those shifty eyes.

Someone is going to have to sort you out with a coloured screen you can use for your backgrounds.

Oh, and then you could insert yourself into actual movies. You could be in A Fistful of Dollars. Or... well, some other movie. As it turns out, I only seem to know one film.

uncle E what are you using for your "green screen"? is that a blanket or a colored fabric draped over something?

Great video Eddie!
I think the lack of sfx adds to it.

You may be the goofiest man alive. Here's to being goofy.

My favorite part is when the bad guy dies and takes out the BG. It wasn't intentional, but it reminded me of the kind of "breaking the 4th wall" stuff That Avery might do.

Seriously, Unc, these are too good for the blogs. That skit was genuinely funny. I'm sure some sketch comedy shows would love to use these films as filler. That's where they belong. (Although, SNL might not need it because I think Andy Samberg is the resident crazy filmmaker guy there right now. But, he can't live forever).

Bwaaaaa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!

That was fantastic! I agree with rogelio - the lack of special effects made it even better and funnier. The part where you just had the bad guy in freeze frame while the good guy moved closer - I was laughing so hard I was crying!

Great work!

Why isn't there an hour long Uncle Eddie's Cartoon Show on television?

Actually, it would make a great online show too. Eddie F. skits and theories, mixed in with public domain Warner and Fleischer cartoons, along with new cartoons from artists Eddie likes.

Bitter: I was thinking about that. Do you know of any free or cheap software that allows for scene grabs?

Jerk: That's a sheet. Doesn't work well, though. I'm still experimenting.

Jennifer: Wow! I'm glad you liked that part! I thought everybody would hate it!

Thad: Great idea! Many thanks!!

Hey Eddie! I was browsing the internets, and I found an old movie poster for this here Western you posted on Youtube. It's really too bad you got second billing, though.

Hmmm... I wouldn't be well up on software but I'm sure one of the younger generation could help you out on that.

Camtasia has a free version and you can record your whole screen or just a window. Probably leaves a watermark though.

Taber: Camtasia? Great! I'll look it up! Thanks much!

Keep this stuff on the internet! The minute you sell it to teevee, the suits and uptight P.C. brigade water down the content and vent their own uncreative frustrations and ruin it!
The idea of making a movie in bits and pieces on You Tube, then splicing the whole enchilada together and posting on GoogleVideo (or ITMS for paying customers) sounds appealing-ish and very Two Point Oh. Someone has to be a retro-pioneer!

That's what I always liked about cowboys- they were a practical bunch. If one method wasn't working, you could be sure they'd hit on something that would get results.

Everybody: I fogot to say that the weird, otherwordly feel of this video owes its existence to the commercial Kovacs did for Dutch Masters, which you can find on YouTube. I credited Kovacs on YouTube, but I forgot to do it here.

Am I the only one that smelled the gunpowder of red paper caps while watching that?
