I had to promote a pirate game the week before Sinterklaas (our Dutch Santa Claus person) and the first day of that weekend they had a sinterklaas who was Way too young. The kids were not buying him at all and preferred shooting canon ball and opted for checking out my table while the whole sitting on Sints lap parade went on, mumbling to me that that was "helper sint".
They proceeded shooting the torpedo canon ball thingies from the ships at my table towards the rest of the crowd and finally at eachother in the eye. Tears appeared. Fights occured. Parents got pissed. And I had 3 more hours to go to promote this... dangerous game. This all while too-young-sint tried to keep up the spirit. Joyful joyful. Department stores around sinterklaas/christmas time are HELL. (but obviously make for hilarious pictures).

The first Santa looks like actor Jean Reno...after a few drinks of course.

The first one's eyes say it all - a combination of "What the @#%!& did I do in my life to deserve this?!?!?!?!" and "I really, really, really DON'T want to be here".
The last one is way too scary. It looks more like the psycho killer in slasher films instead of the "happy, jolly soul".
cableclair - poor you! Your story is really funny, although I think that the incident wasn't funny at the time.
This is why I never beleived in Santa Claus as a kid... It's terrifying, really.

My parents have a similar picture of me, from when I was a kid, sitting on Santa's lap and screaming my eyes out. Santa used to scare the crap out of me when I was 3 years old! BUT then when I learned that he brings me toys, I wanted to be his best friend...I'm such a kiss ass.

Well, another reason why I don't mind not celebrating Christmas.
Kali- somewhere I have a polaroid of me and my friend Maya sitting on Santa's lap when we're about 15 or so...I have this huge retarded grin and Maya's face is all scrunched up and strange looking. After we finished taking the picture, she told me that Santa had been cupping and gently squeezing her ass cheek the whole time! Horrible!
...it's a really funny picture though!
